As C4 is assessed entirely by computer-based assessment (CBA), computer-based preparation is particularly useful for candidates. BPP's i-Pass disc for C4 includes questions for each major area of the syllabus, with worked answers for all questions. There are six sets of questions. The first three assess candidates' knowledge of microeconomics: goals and decisions of organizations; the price mechanism (supply and demand); and market types, behaviours and regulation. The fourth set tests understanding of aspects of the financial system. The final two sets of questions test candidates' grasp of macroeconomics: national income and economic policies; and international trade and globalisation.
